Tree of Life Meditation System -- Day 1 -- Amen

Hetep Everyone,

Here, is my meditation objective for this meditation cycle: I want to see my transformation into a Divine Being as I learn to pause and consciously observe my decision processes before I act.

What does this mean? One of the things that I learned in the last meditation cycle was how very important it is for me to work on my transformation as a Divine Being. By this I mean that I already am a Divine Being; however, that part of me is still submerged by my ego (Auset). I must transform my ego so that it becomes receptive to my divinity, allowing it (Ausar) to resurrect itself. That is what this entire journey is about for me, living as Ausar. From my understanding, pausing (Men Ab -- Heru) and observing with the eye of Tehuti is the key to living as Ausar 24 hours a day.

I want to become conscious of the repetition of the processes I use to make decisions. I have been looking for a way to transform without feeling that I am forced to do so. One of the affirmations in Ra Un Nefer Amen's Tree of Life Meditation System states, "God does not compel me to do what is right..." If there is any force applied at all it is done, not with a whip, but Maat's feather. What if the mere at of observing myself without judgment is a major key to assisting my transformation. I think the theory is worth a meditation cycle, especially since it will help me to stop judging myself.

Here is how I came to this idea: DNA contains a replicating function. In an earlier post, I compared this replication to our thought processes -- how we repeat the same thoughts over and over again while replaying the accompanying images. I was really good at using this replication to produce actions that led to consequences that I really did not want. I realized that if I paused the thought, I could pause the replication and intensification of the emotions. As a result, I'm much better at transforming my emotions.

I'm still growing into the application of this understanding, however, which is the reason for this cycle's objective of pausing and observing. During the time I am able to pause, it is my intention to apply a formula that has come to me: From form to formlessness = transformation/reformation. In observing the formlessness of form, I wish to perceive better images, thoughts, and affirmations, which should stimulate better transformations (realities), leading to my Divinity.

Not pausing means that I automatically repeat similar thoughts, feelings and actions -- the same reality that I already know; thus, no transformation.

Here is the Law of Amen, personalized form the words of Ra Un Nefer Amen in his book, Maat: the 11 Laws of God.

Amen: I am made in the likeness of a peace that nothing can disturb. I reclaim my peace that I may attain to the reason I have come into existence -- the enjoyment of life.

How do I break the Law of Amen by not pausing and observing?

I deny the formlessness of Amen and thus the potential to create what is yet to be born.

That is all for now. I wish you great fortune. Until next time,
Hetep

Tree of Life Meditation System -- Day 1 -- Amen

Hetep Everyone,

Wow! Today is the new moon and the start of another meditation cycle. The start of each meditation cycle is always very exciting for me because I know that I'm getting ready to change something about my life that will move it forward.

Each meditation cycle is about developing and cultivating my spirituality. It is also about my own personal healing -- healing from the effects of the Willie Lynch syndrome and being a product of this Western society. Mostly, participating in the meditation cycles consecutively helps me to grow closer and closer to claiming my Divinity -- my ultimate goal.

My objective for this meditation cycle is to experience my purpose in God's Divine plan, based upon truthful premises determined by relationships of how my functions (thoughts, feelings, and actions)fit the form I'm trying to create (my purpose).

Well, that sounds like a lot, but basically, what it boils down to is that I want to stop procrastinating and making excuses, learning how to take actions that will lead me to my Divine purpose. If you have followed the other two meditation cycles, you will know that I have suffered from life-long, crippling anxiety. I've been chipping away at this anxiety, but now I want to hammer at it and beat it down so this meditation objective is a huge, huge deal for me. I anticipate being able to address and nullify a lot of issues.

One thing that I learned from the last meditation cycle that I think will be a great benefit to me now is my growing understand of Ra (life force energy, Chi, Kundalini).

I was reading the explanation of the Sesh Metu, Bennu -- the phoenix, in the Metu Neter, vol. 1, p. 407. The following sentence triggered and insight about the fire that causes the ashes. See what you think.
"The ashes are symbolic of having been burned by the heat of Ra (tapas) that is generated in all difficult situations in which we are challenged to live Truth."
I always picture this fire as having the same source as the sun and the core of the earth. I imagine the fire burning away impurities, leaving behind only truth. The image has been effective when I apply it to debilitating emotions. I imagine the emotions burning in the fire of Ra, leaving ashes that cascade down to the ground. This allows me to ask myself whether or not my functions (thoughts, feelings, and actions) fit the form that I am trying to create. This is one of my weapons in the fight against procrastination. It's new for me so I can't claim consistent use. Hopefully, by the end of this meditation cycle, I'll be able to say different.

Now, let me give you the Law of Amen and insights from my meditation last night. I have personalized the Law from the words of Ra Un Nefer Amen in his book, Maat: the 11 Laws of God.

Amen: I am made in the likeness of a peace that nothing can disturb. I reclaim my peace that I may attain to the reason I have come into existence -- the enjoyment of life.

Insights:

  • My limited ability to keep my word, make a commitment, or tell the truth, especially in times of strained emotions, is a recognition of my own sense of powerlessness and that someone or something has authority that is superior to my own.
  • Living as a Divine Being, I should have no need to recognize another entity as having superior power to my own. Being is being. All power comes from the same source and we all have access to that power.
  • Anything that causes me to feel powerless only has the power that I acknowledge it has, meaning that I empower it through my recognition of it. I can simply image things that scare me being burned by the fires of Ra, reducing impurities to ashes, leaving behind truth -- something that should be easy to manage.

Well, that's it for now. Thanks so much for joining me for another mediation cycle. I wish you great fortune. Until next time,
Hetep

Tree of Life Meditation System -- Day 1 -- Amen

Hetep Everyone,

Amen is a peace that nothing can disturb. We all have access to this level of peace on a consistence basis, but maintaining our awareness of this level of peace takes training, skill, and practice. This means that although I strive to achieve consistent awareness, I am not disturbed by my deficiencies because I persistently pursue my peace.

For this meditation cycle, I want to experience my worth as a Divine Being. Why? Only through experience can we "know". Everything else is theory. Once I have acquired this knowledge, I can apply it to every area of my life.

All of my life I have felt "unworthy". I don't know why. Pep talks, triumphs, positive thinking, etc. -- none of these things have penetrated this unworthy feeling. I'm beginning to think that this feeling is ancestral. Maybe some ancestor, during slavery, never healed herself in the spirit world and needs me to do it for her. Whatever the source, the time for healing this feeling has arrived.

Why do I want to experience my Self as a Divine Being? First, let me quote from Ra Un Nefer's book Tree of Life Meditation System, page 84, so that you will know somewhat the concept of Divine Being.

"The divine part of being is the faculty that coordinates and unifies our physiological and unconscious mental functions (Ausar, sphere 1). When one establishes the original and essential state of one's energy/matter -- 0 -- as the dominant 'emotion' [peace] in one's life, the divine part of being, Ausar, will extend its functions to the foreground of one's life."

What this means is that I want the outside of my life to run as smoothly as the functions of my body that I personally do not coordinate like, digestion, making sure that the oxygen I breathe in goes to my red blood cells and that the carbon dioxide flowing from my veins to my lungs gets exhaled from my body. The precision of these types of functions is beyond my conscious ability to mastermind. God takes care of these things. I want this same type of precision running my daily affairs. I want the experience of this, and, therefore, the true knowledge of it so that I can fulfill my life's purpose without obstacles.

Feeling unworthy is a huge obstacle. I want to release it back to the Universe -- Amen -- send it too its final resting place.

Now, my job during this part of the meditation cycle is to see how hanging on to feelings of being unworthy cause me to break the Law of Amen. First, let me give you the law. I've personalized it from the wording of Ra Un Nefer Amen in his Maat the 11 laws of God. I do this because I like the way it makes the law apply directly to me.

Amen -- I am made in the likeness of a peace that nothing can disturb. I reclaim my peace so that I may attain to the reason I have come into existence -- the enjoyment of life.

Here are some ways that I break this law:

  • I forget that everything is void of value. The only value in anything is the value that I choose to give it or that which I agree is valuable because I was conditioned to accept it as valuable. This means that I can release the part of me that I describe as unworthy by releasing its meaning, thus, dispelling its power over me. I say this on a conscious level, but I want to know this subconsciously through experience.
  • I forget the hidden nature of God. God is in everything...everything. If I could remember to look for God in everything, then I could strengthen my feelings of connection with God, with the All. You can't get more worthy than that, but like I said, it's one thing to say this or write about it. It's another thing to live it with an understanding that is so thorough that calling upon the knowledge and receiving a response is as natural as having my fingers respond to my intentions of typing this message for you. This is my goal, to be so connected with the All that my intentions automatically manifest themselves because they are in alignment with the All.

Well, this is it for now. Thanks for joining me on this next meditation cycle through another journey. Until next time,
Hetep
